ALSA Indonesia Legal Memorandum Competition (AILMC) is a national legal writing competition organized by ALSA Indonesia to provide a platform for law students across Indonesia to develop their analytical and legal writing skills through the preparation of a professional legal memorandum.

Designed to simulate real-world legal analysis, AILMC invites participants to examine a fictional case scenario and formulate a comprehensive legal memorandum addressing the legal issues presented. Participants are required to conduct in-depth legal research, identify relevant legal frameworks, and develop structured and persuasive legal arguments. The competition is conducted entirely in English to encourage participants to strengthen their legal reasoning, research capability, and professional legal communication within an international-standard academic framework.
